Q. Can I share downloaded images with my friends?

A. No. Due to copyright, you are not allowed to duplicate, reproduce, transfer or redistribute any image downloaded from this website. Copyright is still held by W J Photography.

Q. Who owns the copyright on all images?

A. Copyright continues to be held by W J Photography even after images have been downloaded.

Q. Can I copy printed images purchased from this website?

A. No. As with downloaded images, you are not allowed to duplicate, reproduce, transfer or redistribute any image downloaded from this website. Copyright is still held by W J Photography.

Q. Can I use downloaded images in mass reproduction?

A. Not without prior written permission from W J Photography. If you wish to use images in any form where the images will be reproduced, duplicated or redistribution, you must first ask in writing of W J Photography. Costs will vary dependant on the use and quantity.

Q. Can I duplicate downloaded images?

A. You are only allowed to copy (duplicate) the images upto the quantity purchased e.g. if you purchased a quantity of 1 you are not allowed to copy it. If you purchased 3 you can only own 3 copies, so you can only copy the image twice. You are however allowed to print downloaded images but only for personal use.

Q. What can I do with my downloaded images?

A. You are allowed to print or display downloaded images but only for personal use. To use these images for commercial, republishing or promotional use please contact WJ Photography in writing for permission.

Q. What is the format of downloaded images?

A. All downloaded images are compressed using the highest quality JPEG compression.

Q. What will the size of my downloaded images be?

A. When viewing images, the approximate uncompressed size is displayed against each purchase option. As these images are compressed using the JPEG format the download size may be smaller.

Q. What will the size of my printed images be?

A. When viewing images, the page that the image will be printed is displayed against each purchase option. The images will be printed to best fit the page and therefore the printed size may be smaller than the page. To see the approximate size that the images will be printed, hover the mouse over the Size: link against the purchase option and the approximate size should be displayed (in inches).

Q. Why do I get a cookie message when I try and download images?

A. The shopping cart system used by this website requires the use of two cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer to uniquely identify each purchaser. This cookie is not used to collect any information about the user or their browsing habits and is deleted when you close your web browser.
You must enable cookies to purchase items from this website. If you do not, you will get the cookie message and the 'Add to Basket' button will be disabled.
